The Impacts of Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Method on University Students' Reading Comprehension Skills in Indonesia

One of the problems education in Indonesia is low level public literacy both on a national and international scale. essential aspects improving by generating interest reading college students. This study aims to test effectiveness Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) method students' comprehension skills. There were 40 participants involved which divided into two groups, namely control class experimental class. All are students from State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palopo, South Sulawesi, who taking Indonesian language courses as compulsory subject higher education. To collect data, researcher used an instrument form multiple-choice was given groups pretest posttest sessions. The learning outcomes sessions analyzed quantitatively using SPSS 20.00 application. results showed that use CLIL could improve indicated difference average value between comprehension.
